Do you want to be part of the sponsor a notebook project?

You can now take notebooks with blank pages, as well as paper in good condition, to our collection points. They will then be sorted by volunteers who select the unused sheets to create the notebooks delivered to public schools in Quetzaltenango.

Description

Ecopac is a non-profit organization that seeks to generate development projects towards planning in general. Ecopac is aware of the environmental issues we face today, as well as the vulnerabilities that affect our society due to economic and social differences. The goal is to serve our community through an organization made up of multidisciplinary professionals and strategic alliances with local and international organizations.

General Objective

Improve the quality of life of the different communities in the country, through projects that promote environmental care, education for children, young people and families in general, thus involving them in all sectors for comprehensive development.

Specific Objectives

  • Create education programs that benefit the community in socioeconomic and environmental aspects.
  • Generate strategic alliances with the educational community, returned migrants, single mothers, people with different abilities, among others, promoting the empowerment of the country's vulnerable populations.
  • Support sports spaces in order to create a culture of sport in children and young people who are interested in developing in different areas within their community.
  • Educate and raise awareness among the general population about the importance of waste management, reducing environmental damage that creates an impact on climate change.
  • Analyze and propose projects in favor of family economic development to avoid extreme poverty, school dropouts, crime, and addictions, among others.
